14 million bibliographic records within MOBIUS system to receive Backstage RDA enrichment

PROVO, Utah, June 26, 2014 — Backstage Library Works (www.bslw.com) announced today the completion of RDA enrichment for 380,000 records within the MOBIUS Archway library catalog. Backstage Library Works completes authority control migration for the Stanford University Libraries & Academic Information Resources

PROVO, Utah, July 13, 2012 — Backstage Library Works has migrated the Stanford University Libraries & Academic Information Resources (SULAIR) from another vendor to Backstage’s MARS Authority Control Service. The move involved remastering an LC authority file of 2.6 million records, along with 1.3 million uncontrolled headings, then matching against the Library of Congress and delivering the most up-to-date records.  Custom programming, processing and reports – including customized processing for RDA – were also provided.
