Preserve and share California history! 2019/2020 California Revealed nominations due Monday, September 30, 2019

California Revealed has announced that their 2019/2020 application process is now open, with a nomination submission deadline of Monday, September 30, 2019. California Revealed is a State Library-supported project assisting California’s libraries, archives, museums, and historical societies to digitize and provide
long-term access to historically-significant collections.  Historical items include books, documents, maps, newspapers, photographs, and audiovisual recordings.  The project also provides access and preservation services for existing digital collections. 

Institutions interested in submitting an application should fill out the California Revealed 2019/2020 application form and nominate items they wish to digitize.
All nominations must be accompanied by metadata records, submitted using the California Revealed online repository, Islandora. To set up an account in Islandora, please contact team@californiarevealed.org.

If an institution has large batches of records, a spreadsheet form is available.  Applicants are encouraged to review guidelines for participation.  For further information contact California Revealed staff at 916.653.5074 or send an email to team@californiarevealed.org.

Identifying needs and sharing solutions for research libraries: Backstage joins the discussion at LIBER Annual Conference, Dublin, Ireland
