Provo, Utah, May 10, 2019 – Backstage Library Works (www.bslw.com) is pleased to announce that Chad Cluff has been appointed as Vice President of Sales and Customer Care. Chad will be directing a dedicated team of account representatives. The sales team works with clients to develop customized solutions for cataloging, metadata, digitization, microfilm, record upgrades, authority control, data conversion, reclassification, and on-site services.
Chad has been with Backstage for more than twenty years. He started as a data technician and soon moved into technical services. Chad has been instrumental in the expansion of Backstage services by developing efficient methods, workflows, and programs currently used in the company’s Utah and Pennsylvania locations.
Chad is a PMP-certified manager and has employed those skills over the last several years with his team, which consists of employees in both Bethlehem and Provo.
Nate Cothran, President of Backstage states:
“Through the years, Chad’s duties and contributions have expanded. Rather than creating solutions for one-off projects, Chad has created supporting structure for our programs and best practices that are utilized in Backstage’s current methodologies. He has consistently been ahead of the curve on technology and we’re fortunate to have his critical thinking and expertise. More importantly, he is an active listener and a solutions-oriented manager. He values those he works with and seeks to empower them to greater heights.”
“Solutions are situational, but quality is a constant and we’re building the type of company where we can take advantage of individual strengths to be an agile partner with our clients.”
