Company Description

Backstage Library Works partners with libraries, museums, and archives to help serve their communities. We’re dedicated to providing our clients with the best experience possible so they can focus on doing the same for their patrons. Backstage gets the job done, eliminates work backlogs, enabling our clients to operate more efficiently. We leverage powerful technology and expertise to make our client’s metadata more useful and their collections more accessible.

The Microfilm Services Department produces and duplicates microfilm from materials scanned in our Microfilm studio or from creating copies of existing micrographic reels. Most commonly, we serve libraries and historical organizations by preserving newspapers, manuscripts, serials, monographs, and scrapbooks onto microfilm. No other facility in the United States is specifically dedicated to storing print master microfilm, we have a one-of-a-kind approach to creating long-lasting microfilm, and we are confident about the quality of our services and products. We work best when we can share our expertise with clients and work together with them to create a tailored solution for their collection needs.
