Backstage begins RFID tagging 1.9 million items for East Baton Rouge Parish Library

PROVO, Utah, October 6, 2017 –– Backstage Library Works (www.bslw.com) has begun production on a massive RFID tagging project for the East Baton Rouge Parish Library.  The project is part of the library’s conversion to a unified RFID inventory system, which upon completion, will deliver greater accuracy in circulation and inventory while making library staff more available to patrons.  Backstage will tag over 1.9 million barcoded items contained in fourteen library branches, one outreach services facility, and an external storage facility. Backstage surpasses 10 million mark in RFID tagging

PROVO, Utah, February 27, 2017 — Backstage Library Works (www.bslw.com), a provider of on-site services to libraries around the world, has placed 10,821,628 radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags. Projects ranged from application and encoding of 76,000 RFID labels for one library to tagging 1.6 million items across 35 branches for another.
