Judy Archer,
Project Manger for Authority Control
A vital part of Backstage since 1990, Judy joined the crew as a Data Technician while completing her degree at Brigham Young University.
Moving upward, Judy became a Team Leader and then an Assistant Project Manager for Bibliographic Record Services before assuming her current position as a Project Manager for Authority Control in 2005, shortly after Backstage acquired the MARS Authority Control service from OCLC.
When she's not anchored to a desk, reviewing authority records, Judy likes to spend her time reading "anything except Westerns and war stories," or keeping busy with photography, digital scrapbooking, and a list of handcrafts that makes the rest of us look downright lazy and untalented.
Besides all of that, Judy has a passion for dance, having once taught Latin and ballroom. Lest anyone accuse her of perfection, though, she does admit to enjoying a good disco as well. But, hey, which of us hasn't found a wayward toe involuntarily keeping time with a good ABBA tune?
